16 October 2025
Kaon Security are pleased to announce the October 2025 release of new and enhanced features for Policy Management as a Service (PMaaS).
You can create quizzes based on additional User Policies to assess user understanding. These policies include:
Once activated, the quizzes will be added to the Security Awareness menu.
The new quizzes will use the same module currently used for Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) quizzes, ensuring consistency in presentation and user experience
An updated Word output header block for policy documents featuring a redesigned table, with additional fields for Policy Approver, Approval Date, Previous Review Date, Review Cycle, Next Review Date, and Policy Owner. Primary users will be able to configure these new options in the Policy Settings page.
A new report will be available showing acceptance details for any of the policies across any user types using a range of selection criteria. The report can be viewed onscreen or output to CSV.
This addition allows users to filter their search results by content area (User/Manager/Technical) using an additional “Search Again” option.
Content questionnaires help customers ensure their PMaaS content is kept up to date. The questionnaires appear in red on the Client Menu page and My Account page for those users they are targeted to. This new option will ensure users get a reminder if a questionnaire has not been submitted for actioning
PMaaS now provides a SCIM API with a base URL and a secure token that authenticates Entra’s provisioning requests to our system. In addition to creating user identities, automatic provisioning includes the maintenance and removal of user identities as status or roles change.
A new onscreen matrix is now available that shows the alignment of all policy statement content in PMaaS to the ISO 27001 standard.
The current VPDSS alignment content (PDF based) in PMaaS is replaced with a new onscreen matrix making it easier to see where policy statement content in PMaaS aligns to the VPDSS.
